Ted always pitched in
He was a frequent participant in all types of Grange and contra dance projects, helping out, and clearly enjoying doing so. A large group of colleagues and friends met to remember him at the Memorial Service at Norwich, on Saturday June 19th, and at the Grange meeting and CDU contra dance that evening. Many people from his professional and personal circles of friends spoke about Ted's commitment to teaching and encouraging people to try new things, and his always-positive attitude with beginners in fields from mathematics to dancing.
Ted's family has asked that donations in Ted's honor be made to the Capital City Grange, or to Norwich, to fund a scholarship for students with mathematical talents.
